This is a tutorial on how to build a simple LPG venturi burner. The parts cost around $60 AUD without the regulator (which can be another $100). The forge's atmosphere can be adjusted by twisting the upright pipe, which varies the amout of air sucked in.Please be careful when working with gas. If you don't know what you are doing, find someone who does.
Parts you will need
- LPG regulator
- 1.8m LPG hose - with the right fittings for regulator and 1/4 BSP
- 180mm 20mm steel pipe
- 40mm to 20mm steel reducer
- Off cut of steel 4mm x 20 x 35
- 6mm Bolt
- brass 1/4 BSP end cap
- 120mm 1/4" OD steel pipe
- 1/4 BSP gasvalve
