We are pleased to offer fiber laser cutting services to knifemakers, bladesmiths and blacksmiths. Regardless of whether you want one item cutout or one hundred blanks we are happy to help.
In the past we have offered this service by word-of-mouth and it has been used by makers to produce three blanks of a hunting knife prototype through to customers who have cut out hundreds of steak knives. Prices as low as $30 for one blank of your own design are possible, with bulk rates available for larger orders.
Our cutting services are available from our stock of 1075 Carbon Steel or a range Stainless Steel. Cutting of other metals is available by prior arrangement.
We accept files in DXF format and we are able to convert raster file formats for a nominal fee. If you don't have computer skills, don't worry - we can digitise your hand drawing for a small fee.
We can cut carbon and mild steel up to 16mm and stainless up to 8mm thick. Kerf width can be as low as .2mm depending on material thickness.
