This set of tong blanks allows you to customise tongs to your specific needs. It is very economical way of building up your collection of tongs. By keeping some spare, if a special need arises, you can quickly make a pair and keep working.
The set contains five pairs of tongs with five 8mm rivets. They can be used to make flat jaw, scrolling, bolt, wolf jaw, duck bill tongs and many other variations.
You can either drill or punch the rivet hole in the tongs. The handles are easily forged longer to your taste.
These are plasma cut out of 8mm mild steel so there is plenty of metal to customise your jaws.
